Hi
I have a question for you because I came across a website with firmware from Intel in the ME region, I wonder if any of you know where I can find a version newer than 1.51 BIOS for my laptop and where to look for such things because on the Acer website it says 1.27 or 1.42 and 1.51 is not available because I downloaded it from the Microsoft Catalog and it comes from May 31, 2019, so my question is where to look for newer BIOS versions for Acer, apart from the Acer and Microsoft Catalog websites, thanks in advance
My laptop is Acer Aspire F5-573G

Windows 10 64 bit

Hi,
You need to update BIOS from Acer support site only, I would suggest against updating BIOS from any other source, you may damage your laptop using any updates from a third party source, so ignore the updates offered by them.

Where did you see the 1.51 version? If it was offered by Windows Update, you can update through WU after taking all precautions like connected to mains while updating firmware, make sure that the battery is fully charged otherwise ignore it.

I copied the ID from System Firmware from Device Manager -> Details -> Hardware ID

If that Firmware update is suitable for your system, they would have offered as an optional update through the WU, the update doesn't say anything about your particular model, so, I would still ignore it.

I uploaded this update, it is for my model because the ID is correct and it is adapted to my Aspire f5-573G model. It updates the microcode of the processor. Apart from that, it does nothing else but it works. I am just asking if there is a newer version than 1.51 because I uploaded this version at the end. 2019

I am glad that it worked for you, I am not aware of any firmware updates after this, all the best.

Your latest BIOS/UEFI seems to be 1.27 from Acer.

Some manufacturers may put these through Windows updates. Manufacturers update App or you can get directly from Acer for your specific model.

What matters is the full model number, Serial #, so the Acer or Windows updates knows what you need.

Acer makes many similar laptops with different hardware, varies with region and so on.
What you found in the Update catalogue will not be relevent, if it was Windows Updates would list it.

Intel ME you may get from Acer or Windows updates.

On mine it came thru Windows updates about a week before the Manufacturers website. Not that it matters.
