To answer my own question: If i do a clean install using install media downloaded from MS without any modifications, the computer/disk/s did not got encrypted.

Got it! :) Modern Standby is turned off here but does not matter here as well, iow the battery drains out when the computer is turned off. Will test to turn off the Wi-Fi! :)
