it seems to work fine on 75hz with 1600x900, just not a very nice screen, but no flicker. Strange specs of monitor say 1920 is supported Guess I use this now, till I buy new monitor sometime, hope that with a new one i will not have same troubles.

The flicker came back, so I went the DDU route. Just before writing I saw a very small flicker, so I am afraid it will be back. And actually as writing, now another one. So yeah it is back :(

the problem seemed to be the driver, and not the monitor. But still maybe I should buy a new monitor anyway, can't believe how long I done with this thing. when I look it up, its a monitor from 2009. (Acer V243hq)

thanks, DDU website said their software should be used when a clean install doesn't work, so I tried clean install through intel, for now it looks good, but flicker can always come later, if so, I will go DDU route. Is that ok?

well tried other resoultiuon and its worse, but i cannto change back somehow, now the menu is faded out where i cannt choose anymore. Well I still see no screen flicker, i guess it was a driver problem, so what should I do now, keep using it with the microsoft basic driver, or try again with...

yeah only two resolutions i can choose now, so i stick with this for now.

ah just did, i have a weird screen now though, like a cinema with black above and under, i see no flicker yet though, but sometimes after restarting i dont have flicker, i will try it a while in this mode, see if it flickers again

i could also uninstall it, should i do that? as in uninstall device, i don't dare right now, before anybody here tells me that is safe

I can only disable UHD graphics 630, but I see no way to set it to microsoft basic display adapter

monitor is just shown as generic non-pnp monitor So its already set as windows default. microsoft basic display adapter I must say something else I notice, wondows recommends me to 2048x1152 mode. But pressing menu button of monitor and going to info says itself its a 1920x1080 monitor. Also...

Have done that all already. I guess calibration on monitor is same as auto scale Also I already have the microsoft basic display driver, as i cannot find drivers for my monitor on the acer webiste

I will when I am able too Actually just had a lot of flicker, restarted in safe mode with networking, no flicker there. No restarted in normal mode again, also no flicker now. So I assume its not the monitor, otherwise flicker would be constant I guess, or am I wrong on that.

just did it, no flicker, but then usually flicker happens when i play online chess, watch youtube, or have multiple things open, things i am not able to do in safe mode
