Ended up just resetting my windows installation, I have 24H2 now. Had to do an backup with an external SSD. Thanks again everyone for trying to help.

So I have now tried to create a recovery image on an external SSD. However it tells me certain system files are missing and therefore the backup cannot be created. It asks me to use the ISO and such to fix this, but it will just lead to me just crashing during the update. I am even locked out of...

Been trying all kinds of ways, none of them worked. Even followed official Microsoft troubleshooting documentation. Didn't work either, I guess I'll have to do an backup with an external drive. Thanks for all the help guys.

would i keep all of my files doing this procedure? and do you mean genuinely using an ISO or using the installation assistant? I just tried doing the installation assistant while having my anti telemetry software uninstalled. And it still didn't work.

I have an ''failed to merge telemetry file'' error, I found it in the logs. I have O&O ShutUp10++ installed which disables telemetry on windows. Could that be the issue?

Where would I have to specifically look inside the logs to find the error? There is a lot of text.
