AFAIK that piece of software is called "Snipping Tool". Taskbar icon:

Well at least you tried. That's the important thing. How. Did. I. Never. Know. This. Trick. (Will it also do it with a zed?) It's a Surface, so just touchpad. Been carrying laptops on and off planes for so long, I don't think I've even used a mouse since 2004. That's not a joke.

Ohhhh. Those are the options for ScreenX you circled. I thought you found a way to hack into the properties for Snipping Tool.

What is that you are using to see those options? I rather like it. Don't know what more I need.

I'm not being clear. It captures screenshots just fine. When you hit the Win+Shift+S - yes, you get the dim screen and the little tab at the top of your screen. BEFORE you do anything, look at your Taskbar. It's the same as it was before you hit Win+Shift+S. Then when you take the shot -...

I'd like to open Snipping Tool in a Maximized Window. But when I right-click on it in the taskbar, there's no way to get to its Properties and set that. Help?
