FWIW, I've updated the SurfaceHub application through the Windows Store, haven't seen any BatterService errors since.

the device works great regardless of the BatteryDM.exe crashes, so I'm, ignoring for now until there is a fix...

I'm seeing the same issue, I believe it's only when the device is connected to external power.
