    It has 4 usb ports which are taken up by other devices. no room for another keyboard, I just threw a keyboard out.

    Looks like I only copied and pasted where I was to post the results to. For some reason, when I closed the blue screen with the instructions, it also closed the information about the scan and results. Hmmm, maybe I need to redo that scan again, but wont be tonight. Maybe early next week.

    Ok, I did end up accessing and viewing the contents / folders on the phone. It took some time for the phone to show allow or deny access. Once I chose the Allow button, all is good now.

    VladdyProsa, Just done that, still no joy, phone is connected to laptop via USB and still not detected. Surely one does not have to link the phone to Microsoft, that's something I never had to do in the past.

    Hi Bug locker, Unfortunately that utility you suggested won't install on my laptop as its too old. Mine is 21H2, it needs to be upgraded.. I'll have to wait another day and try and old friends PC to see if the phone is detected. I'll keep you posted.

    This is what happens when trying to connect with USB, the phone is connected to the laptop via USB but message says otherwise. Developer Options is also open in Debug Mode
