New been a dual boot. Got some unused space when I converted to UEFI - GPT on main drive. I had run the chkdsk on all drives but just didn't report. found no problems Working on post 11 that's a big on will take some time. Need to find a place to post the output.

Changed from Legacy to UEFI but no change same error. Still won’t update goes back to windows 10 on first reboot.

Tried a full clean install but got same error. Went into device mgr and disabled almost everything same error

I have thought about doing a full install, but I just hate losing my apps and having to reinstall everything. I guess that would be my next step. Hiren is just a utility that can be used to repair your system. I used it with Rufus to create a boot usb to test if my system can boot with GPT.

I haven’t switched to GPT because I made a Hiren cd with GPT and could never get it to boot. I’m afraid I might kill my system. I have tried several workarounds to update. Used rufus and several other methods but no luck. I get to the 100% then first boot, then back to windows 10. I attached...
