I did. I rebooted each time.
I just tried this command in an elevated command prompt and rebooted and now I have default show more:

I can't get this to work on my PC running 11 23H2. I've followed the steps multiple times and have started over from scratch a couple of times as well.
I'm having an issue with a fresh install of Windows 11. When I hit Win+Tab, the virtual desktops I have open all show the exact same windows / applications.
Anyone know how to fix this?
Also, I thought each virtual desktop would show a list of its open applications that would let me drag the...
I've attached a screenshot of my settings and what it looks like when I have multiple desktops open (they all have the same apps. and windows in them).
Hitting Win+Ctrl+D only opens a new virtual desktop without automatically switching to it.
So in Windows 10 when I press Win + Tab, it would open a blank, new virtual desktop. In Windows 11 when I do the same, the virtual desktop that opens has the same applications and windows as the main desktop that's already open.
Anyone know how to get it to open a new, blank, virtual desktop...
Found a new piece of software (new to me) called "Actual Multiple Monitors" that allows me to:
- have a taskbar on each monitor that will show only windows open on that monitor
- show all open windows as a separate button instead of tiling them (like the default Win11 taskbar)
- drag individual...
Unfortunately, none of the above works reliably. The one suggested on the MS forums works for a few minutes then the taskbar starts popping up again when the mouse is brought near it.
Is anyone else seeing this with "Settings"? When I maximize it, there's a blank bar at the very top where you can see whatever is behind the Settings window.
In my attachment, you can see some of the items on my desktop.
The only feature I use in 7+ Taskbar Tweaker is the option to let me drag and re-arrange taskbar buttons for open windows by right clicking and dragging them.
