I can't get this to work on my PC running 11 23H2. I've followed the steps multiple times and have started over from scratch a couple of times as well.

I've attached a screenshot of my settings and what it looks like when I have multiple desktops open (they all have the same apps. and windows in them). Hitting Win+Ctrl+D only opens a new virtual desktop without automatically switching to it.

So in Windows 10 when I press Win + Tab, it would open a blank, new virtual desktop. In Windows 11 when I do the same, the virtual desktop that opens has the same applications and windows as the main desktop that's already open. Anyone know how to get it to open a new, blank, virtual desktop...

Unfortunately, none of the above works reliably. The one suggested on the MS forums works for a few minutes then the taskbar starts popping up again when the mouse is brought near it.

Anyone know of a utility that can permanently hide the taskbar?

Ok problem resolved. It was being caused by ExplorerPatcher. I removed it and Settings properly maximizes now.

My taskbar is at the bottom. I just cropped it out of the screenshot. This is only happening with "Settings".

Is anyone else seeing this with "Settings"? When I maximize it, there's a blank bar at the very top where you can see whatever is behind the Settings window. In my attachment, you can see some of the items on my desktop.

The only feature I use in 7+ Taskbar Tweaker is the option to let me drag and re-arrange taskbar buttons for open windows by right clicking and dragging them.
