Exactly the same happened to me.
Waited ages, no progress. Rebooted, it went back to 0% and still nothing happened.
The other updates had download fine and were ready to install.
Finally OK after another long wait, and it then installed fine.

FWIW KB5006050 installed fine for me with no problems, and I got the new-look Microsoft Store app too when I checked for updates there.

There is talk that Windows Update will be disabled on Windows 11 machines deemed to be incompatible.

It's still working for me at the moment, but it will be interesting to see if that changes on Patch Tuesday on the 14th.
