  1. Can't delete folders on SSD

Yes everything is where I wanted it. Since the early days of window 10 I've had a c drive with apps and windows and 4 separate HDD/sdd. 12TB currently. Easier to backup amongst other things. Apart from the occasional glitch (like today) it has all worked well with no noticeable speed impediment...
  2. Can't delete folders on SSD

Okay so I restored location of Music to default (although it's not where I want to store my Music files) and then was able to delete the Music folder in the first SSD. I did the same for Documents. Hope it hasn't screwed up anything else in the process. Thanks for the tip.
  3. Can't delete folders on SSD

Until recently I have been using one SSD with 2 main folders marked documents and music, to store the relevant files. (Windows and apps are on a separate NVM.) I have now added a second SSD and moved all my document folders/files to root on the original SSD and all my music files to the other...
  4. Adding shortcuts to All Apps.

@Edwin, Thanks for the clarity Edwin but I had worked that out before your modified post. I have it working now although it really shouldn't need such faffing about. But I still don't know how you got it working with a shortcut to Sharpen Ai when I had to use a shortcut to Sharpen Ai External...
  5. Adding shortcuts to All Apps.

@rick99 Yes I saw your post and tried several things such as rebooting (just in case), unpinning etc but no joy. I have now got it working but to say it's been a slog is the polite way of putting it. Not helped that I spotted that there were 2 different exe files to launch one of the apps and...
  6. Adding shortcuts to All Apps.

@Edwin, Great so you got Sharpen to show up. Photo Ai worked as it should with me so no issue there. Can you please be a little clearer which folders you used to cut and paste from. Thanks
  7. Adding shortcuts to All Apps.

@Wynona No that's completely wrong. They are and always have been totally separate apps. If you read what I wrote it should be clear which ones work and which don't.
  8. Adding shortcuts to All Apps.

@Wyona, Topaz Sharpen AI Topaz deNoise AI Topaz Mask Others like: Topaz Photo Ai Topaz Gigapixel Ai Topaz JPEG to Raw place the shortcut in Start>All Apps Beware these are large files if you want to download them and try. I'm coming to the same inevitable conclusion that the Start Menu isn't...
  9. Adding shortcuts to All Apps.

Yes as I mentioned above 3 out of 6 files (from Topaz) work ok, including Photo Ai. It's Sharpen deNoise and Mask that don't. Give it a try if you wish and see if it works for you.
  10. Adding shortcuts to All Apps.

@Edwin. Nope, the Topaz Sharpen exe file is 3.9GB !
  11. Adding shortcuts to All Apps.

Well I had another look after a good night’s sleep. Seems to be 3 out of 6 apps from just one company (Topaz LLC) don’t play ball ie they won’t place a shortcut into the Start>All Apps menu. Tried it on another PC with Win 11 and same problem. Uninstalled and reinstalled again and same...
  12. Adding shortcuts to All Apps.

@Edwin...yes I am signed in as Admin @trumpy81... yes I thought that too so rebooted...but still the same issue. My bed is calling...tomorrow I'll check on another PC with these apps. Dave
  13. Adding shortcuts to All Apps.

@trumpy81 Yes I can pin them to the taskbar. But following the rest of your suggestion it still didn't show up in Start>All Apps. I'm going to give up for the night and have a look on another Win 11 pc tomorrow. Thanks for your help
  14. Adding shortcuts to All Apps.

@glasskuter If you read what I have written you'll see I have tried that and it failed.
  15. Adding shortcuts to All Apps.

@OAT That's interesting as the apps that won't show up in Start>All Apps don't show when I do shell:AppsFolder May be there is something strange with these apps although they work perfectly when run.
