I know. This is just a humorous "trick question". I first heard it several years ago.

What I want is to upgrade my Windows 11 version (from 24H2 to 25H2) WITHOUT all my apps being wiped out. Can I do the upgrade in such a way that my apps will REMAIN in my system and won't need to be re-installed?

From what the tutorial says, I suspect that a "repair install" would just re-install the same version that I have now, that is, 24H2.

Good advice, I guess. But the support for my version, 24H2, is about to end. I guess I should upgrade to 25H2 for now. But I want to be sure of this -- will it remove any of my software programs, requiring me to re-install them? Such as Microsoft Word, the "Movies and TV" app, my "4K Video...

I now have Windows 11 Home version 24H2. If I upgrade to 26H2, will it affect (1) My data files? (2) My installed software? (3) Or anything else?

I ran the Safety Scanner, deleted my cache and cookies, and used Revo to un-install McAfee LiveSafe. All that was not sufficient to stop the popups. They finally stopped when I disabled all notifications. Then I manually deleted the PC Optimizer since I couldn't get rid of it any other way. And...

I'm not sure what to do now. I seem to have gotten rid of "McAfee LiveSafe", but the other McAfee program -- "PC Optimizer" is still there. It appears in the System Tray, and in Task Manager. But it doesn't show up in the Start menu, or in the "Settings" screen, or in "Programs and Features"...

I'm using Edge, and I have no new extensions. The popups appear even when I'm not on the Internet at all.

A series of popups are appearing on my screen which are obviously phony and are some kind of traps designed to trick me into clicking them. They talk about viruses and Trojans and encrypted files and so on. Some of them say "McAfee" and they began appearing when I was on the McAfee app. Others...

I don't think so. I've been using that downloader for a few years now. But anyway, I've given up on Media Player. I'm now using the "Movies and TV" app, which works just as well. Thanks, everyone, for your concern.
