    Thanks for your assistance! Problem solved. It never occurred to me to execute the burn command from the DVD drive. I may restore the 'send to' option, but I am going to review the entire context menu; it provides more options than I need and misses some I would like. I only moved up from Win 10...

    I must have made a mistake early in this process. I used the send to function from the context menu to send a set of files to my DVD drive. They showed as ready tot copy, but when I tried to paste men the process failed. Windows appeared to think I was trying to copy and write to the same drive...
