Well I finally got into Windows after about 45 attempts! That update is downloading and am hoping it goes smoothly this time. I'm going to have to give that Password some serious thought. Thank you for posting,

Mine did the most bizarre thing. First attempt it installed to 100%, restarted then failed. 2nd attempt it installed to 7% and immediately failed. 3rd attempt it went back to the old school and installed to 30%, restarted and then installed to 100% successfully!! After which I had around...

Do what you want. It’s a free world. Well mostly anyway.

All these drive cleaners work via the registry. As a Microsoft MVP in computer safety the first thing I would warn people against was anything that promised to speed up things by cleaningn anything. However maybe things have imroved over the years. Let us hope so.

Everything in your machine has its own Registry Entry..
