The reason you experience a system crash may well have nothing to do with explorer anyhow.

Having to backup 300Gb of data on a regular basis is not a good policy if that also includes the OS.
Using dedicated partitions for OS and data will reduce backup times no end.

Same here. Ironically after the installation finished (reboot etc.) a CU was offered, downloaded and then automagically realized it was of no use.

If you're already on version 21H2 (Build 22000.194) then don't bother to wait for the update to show up as this actually is the latest W11 version.

Have been running the pre-release version for a couple of months and quite like it. It's swift and feels quite steady.
As for obsolete hardware ? Well, if you want to step into the future you just have to make choices.

Does a simple bios update suffice to pass for W11 ready?
Reason I ask is that Asus lists the MB I use as compliant but I acquired it without the TPM2.0 module installed.
Shortly after that I bought such module and installed and changed the PTT settings accordingly.
So, why does ASUS lists...
