Thanks. I'll try those steps out. Seems like an oversight to me but what did I expect?:confused:

That's turns off the time though. I still need the time. I just want to get rid of the Adjust time and date and Notification Settings

I'm not sure what this area is called but I need to disable it or prevent user from access it: It doesn't seem to be the system tray, quick setting, or notification settings. I've looked around and can't find anything on it.
