    You miss the point, you can't find any professional photo editing software on Linux anyway, it just doesn't exist. For Windows, you can find several, but unfortunately they are all paid. GIMP cannot replace Photoshop in any way, if you're using GIMP for screenshots or YouTube covers or something...
