  1. Solved WiFi faster than Ethernet?

Final update. I followed the advice of Ghot & purchased a Gigabit Ethernet Network Adapter, USB to RJ45. Internet speed is 320Mbps up & down - actually faster than my ISP's advertised speed. Thanks for your advice.

Yeah, that would work but a Gigabit Ethernet Network Adapter, USB to RJ45 would be neater & cheaper for my purposes. Thanks anyway.
  3. Solved WiFi faster than Ethernet?

That's interesting & doesn't cost much at all. I may invest in one of those. Although since I'll only use ethernet when relatively close to the router & since WiFi is up to speed anyhow perhaps that'd be superfluous. Thanks for your help.

  10. Solved Background color on dialog boxes.

On Windows 11 at the Bing Home page the search dialog box has a black background and the font is very dark also. As a result I'm unable to read/see any responses. How do I change it to black font on a white background?
  11. Taskbar now less useful

Thanks. I'll give those a try.
  12. Taskbar now less useful

On Windows 10 when an application is running it's icon on the taskbar expands, clearly indicating that the app is running. However, on Windows 11 this has changed & now the only indication that the app is running is a tiny, hardly visible underline on the app's taskbar icon. Is it possible to...
