I have Windows 11 22H2 runnig explorer patch and it does not crash when right on a hard drive under "computer". I also do not have any issue with the start menu. As you face problems after unistalling EP, you may want to seek the resolution elsewhere.

Correct, you need to follow the ISO upgrade/regedit method to get to 22H2 on unsupported HW. My problem with 22H2 is that ClassicShell no longer worked. Openshell now seems stable as replacement and worked on 22H2. Explorerpatcher also applied on 22H2.
