No original media came with it. There was a "recovery partition" on the SDD, but it's been wiped using that DoD program.

Windows 10. And even though the above discussion shows the thumb drive being created with Windows 11, I have done the same thing using Windows 10 and the exact same thing happens at the exact same spot.

Do you mean a warranty with the purchase of the software? The computer is 8 years old and its warranty has long expired. I contacted the maker of the DoD software but they have yet to write me back :(

According to the manual, it is a 256 GB SATA Solid State Drive. I also set the BIOS to the default (did that yesterday). I really appreciate your help with this. I am wondering if the DoD program did something to the drive rendering it useless.
