I have to learn that, too. *sigh* I thought these things were supposed to take care of themselves. They don't. But on the other hand, they hid everything from us so it's difficult to find files and apps and applications and everything else. What's a "CU"?

I'm finally getting back to this. Unfortunatelly, this shows how to align the task bar to the left. That is, left align it. But it's still on teh bottom of my desktop. I want to get it vertically, on the left side of the screen.

Hi. I auto-hide my start bar on the bottom of the screen. In Win 10 I could move the whole thing to the left side. Can I do so in Win 11? Also, what are all those other annoying bars getting in my face all the time and what will happen to them if I move the Start bar to the left? Thx.

When I try step 5, click on Edit next to "Advanced Wi-Fi Properties" I get the following error. Maybe that's because of the unusual setup they have here. How do I fix that?

You know what, nevermind this whole thread (right after re-activating it). I finally found an answer. stevepow's response is buried deep in this thread. The answer is to DISABLE "Show recommended section" in File Explorer Options.
