Yeah, the task view button disappears when the search box is enabled.
(This was recorded on Windows 10 Stable, which for some reason now supports the search box on small taskbar).
This is how it looks like:
Hi Valinet, first of all thank you for still working on this project. I can only imagine that it is difficult to keep this project going since no one else contributes to it. I also want to apologize for my harsh tone and for saying there was no interest in updating. It just looked strange from...
I agree, unfortunately the Settings and Defender app is also UWP and thus also disappears from the Start menu :D It's ok as long as you install ExplorerPatcher on a pre 2023 Windows 11 22H2 build and then update. Just don't try to switch to the Win11 menu afterwards out of boredom or whatever...
I'm on stable build. The menu itself works fine, sure, but as soon you uninstall or install any UWP/WinUI app, all of these shortcuts dissapear and only lists shortcuts (.lnk).. and there's no way to fix it except to create a new User account or reinstall Windows.

I already tried restarting the computer, restarting Explorer and clearing all cache/user files but it's still gone.
I guess the only fix is to reinstall Windows 11 and don't...
Starting with 22H2, ExplorerPatcher has problems with the Windows 11 start menu, Win+X menu and the superbar right click menu.
It just doesn't work. The old Windows 10 start menu works fine. I already tried to remove ExplorerPatcher and all its dependencies (and even reinstalled Windows 11) but...
