  1. Solved Taskbar File Explorer open to C:\ possible?

Hi Dacrone. I have many shortcuts on my taskbar. The 3 major shortcuts are for: File Explorer. Control Panel. System. I created a custom shortcut icon for File Explorer (Looks like the old windows Explorer icon). which takes me directly to the C:\ root.
  2. Solved Taskbar File Explorer open to C:\ possible?

I got my File Explorer icon to open to the root drive by right-clicking the desktop & selecting new/shortcut/browse (location of root drive)\next (type name of drive shorcut)\finish. Since you use StartAllBack, Right-click & unlock the taskbar. This allows you to get the 'Toolbars' option...
  3. Solved Taskbar File Explorer open to C:\ possible?

Have you tried unpinning the original File Explorer icon? BTW, I use StartAllBAck which allows for more customization of the interface.

Hi folks. I recently installed Windows 11 Pro 24H2 (OS Build 26100,4946) on a ASUS Prime B450M-A II Computer (32 GB GB). After performing all the necessary updates (drivers, etc.) I installed StartAllBack 3.9.1.3 (latest version). Everything looked good until I I right-clicked a file in...

  9. StartAllBack

Hmmm... It seems StartAllBack v3.9.3 has been released. StartAllBack to fix all Windows 11 deal-breaking UI issues. I'm going to give it a try on my 'test' computer to see what changes have been made.
  10. StartAllBack

Thanks Spacedust. Trying all suggestions given here. Out of 11 of my Win 11 242H builds, only three are experiencing the issue.
  11. StartAllBack

It's a "release candidate" version that the author is ready to give his stamp of approval for general consumption. I'll wait for the "final" version.
  12. StartAllBack

Thanks again Edwin. It's not the end of civilization. Each & every one of the Win 11 machines have identical system specs, since I built them all. Perhaps it's some individual software or application that might be causing the issue. As per Pro User, dacrone's suggestion, I'll give it a go. If...
  13. StartAllBack

Thanks dacrone. Got it. I give your suggestion a try.
  14. StartAllBack

Hi Edwin. On those computers that the "Select All" option is not showing, I don't see any of the features pictured in the images. Maybe I have 3 rogue copies? <lol> BTW, I've tried the W7 Command Bar, but it's not my cup of tea (visually). I remember that from my old WIN 7 build of many moons...
  15. StartAllBack

Thanks for responding Edwin. I always use the Win11 Command Bar.
