Yeah i did use the trackpad and mouse, no change for me.

The only reason i just reset is it was easier, the laptop is just there to try out newer versions of 11 and therefore had nothing else on it. I just never came across this issue before and wondered if anyone else had. I test on there before committing to the other laptop and desktop.

Windows 11 gives us even less choice than Windows 10 and that even took away some of the things we had in Windows 7. One of a list of reasons i will not be using Windows 11 anytime soon.

Same here, i have it on my laptop just to keep up with development, but there is no way at present its going on my desktop which also has 2 x 4k screens and is running just how i want it with Win 10. I can see very little in Win 11 at present to interest me.

I agree it can be done but we should not have to hack the registry to get back something we have had before and to be honest i cannot see any reason we cant have it now.

Well when and if that ever happens i think i will have got rid of Windows all together and gone wholly to linux. I fear MS is going down the route of Apple with the whole control freakery which is why i left Apple, well that and their stupid prices which are not justified. Just need third party...

Yes my mistake i should have said natively. With each new version of Windows we seem to lose as much as we gain. For me im not seeing much gain to Win 11.

Until they give us the opportunity to put the taskbar where we want i will not entertain it on my main computer. The whole look and feel of Windows 11 is like we are going back in time, less control now, loads of things we cant do in 11 that we could do in 10 and 7. Fancy looking UI, which is...

Being someone in their 60's as well i can only hope you are right. Windows 10 eventually did after soom teething troubles, its still not perfect but its also a worthy successor to Windows 7, we won't mention Windows 8. Just hope they don't follow their previous trend for one good then the next...
