This has been for a week now. For some reason the OneDrive icon in the lower right corner on the System Tray is showing a blue circle with an "i" in it. Clicking on it doesn't show any notifications whatsoever.

Yesterday the Windows Photos app got updated and now any kind of picture filetype (jpg, png, etc) are shown as blank icons when they are viewed as List or Details in explorer. Normally the icon should be . Thumbnail view works fine though.
The pictures do open automatically with the Photos app...
Trying to unlock OneDrive's Personal Vault within Windows explorer gives the following error: We couldn't set up your Personal Vault 0x8004db93
Opening the vault through OneDrive's website works fine.
Uninstalling and reinstalling OneDrive didn't fix this.

Is this the installer from MajorGeeks? If so, do these codecs receive updates via the MS Store afterwards since they are extracted from the Dolby Digital Plus Decoder app from the Store?
I completely clean installed 24H2 and there seems for be something wrong accessing any MS update server.
- Windows Update doesn't automatically scan for updates, clicking Scan makes it search for updates forever. I manually had to install the standalone MSU files.

Closing File Explorer or even rebooting the PC doesn't fix this. The moment I disable "show hidden files" I am able to safely remove the external device. Could you perhaps test this at your end?

When hidden files are shown in the folder options of explorer, trying to safely eject an external harddrive (via the icon in the system tray) results in an error saying that the device is in use. The moment I disable "show hidden files" I can safely remove the device.
