    You can see which program stops the safe ejection by checking event viewer. It is so weird they don’t show name of the offending program on the error window.

    @erpster4 Thank you for your response, on official download page the most recent Audio driver released by Asus for my Asus laptop is almost three years old and it uses hdxsstasus.inf. I am sending a DM, thanks. Edit: It seems like I am not allowed to send DMs..

    I don’t understand why you guys want to install Windows 11 on early Vista era hardware. Tech advances and you simply move on. Even if you manage to do some voodoo tricks and get a successful install, it simply won’t perform well. Do you also complain when you can’t install iOS 18 on iPhone 6?

    On my freedos laptop, I only performed a clean install the day I bought it. 2019 LTSC > 2021 LTSC > 2024 LTSC (updated using isos since feature updates are not available in WU when using LTSC) I hate clean installs because setting up all my software again feels like a chore.
