  • Served in the US Air Force for six years - five on active duty and a year in the California Air National Guard.
  • Retired IT technician after 40 years, dating back to CP/M, the Apple II Plus, other OLD stuff. Worked at Ashton-Tate, Nantucket, Computer Associates and Toshiba in tech support before going into corporate IT work.
  • Hobbies include camping with my wife in our little travel trailer; stamp collecting; amateur (ham) radio; shortwave listening; and of course spoiling our kids, grandkids and great-grandkids at every opportunity!
  • Married for 38 years (will be 40 in 2025!) to my lovely, wonderful and extremely understanding wife, Claudia (who is also a ham radio operator, KC6NGO)
