Slightly different topic: windows aren't always coming to the front when they should.

I can maximize the window. I just don't understand why windows doesn't open it maximized when I put that in the shortcut properties.

This runs in the windows standard cmd.exe program.

That's the setting I mean. I set it to maximized but it doesn't open maximized.

I don't want to maximize the icon but run the program the shortcut points to in a maximized window as can be set in the shortcut properties.

In the .cmd file UDefrag is started. It gives a progress indication in the form of a map made out of cli printable characters.

I tried the app. It changes my mousepointer into a big black square. Thanks for the effort.

Hello I made a shortcut to a .cmd file and set it to run maximized but it runs in a "normal" window. Does anybody know how to fix this? This is not the first time I've had this problem but I haven't found a fix yet.

Thanks. Your script has set the value properly. It doesn't seem to have the desired effect on my computer though. Now I set the value to 5. I rebooted and started the scan. The cpu usage stays under 10% for about a minute. Than it jumps to around 90% and stays there for about 7 minutes. Than it...

I ran the script, chose 20, rebooted and started the scan. The cpu usage is around 90% for a while now.

Thanks for the effort but it doesn't seem to change the cpu usage. I chose 20. Is this supposed to be a permanent change? Should I restart windows for the change to take effect?
