Yes, I can run that. In fact, I did this previously as confirmed in post 75. I'm getting confused by suggestions to run reg edit as post 94, and whether I should be running my user or admin account. Kinda lost in all the permutations........

I can run reg editor as admin from within my user login, but don't know how to run the registry fix of post 75. That post is done using a command prompt. So, out of my competency zone, am stuck:confused:

So am I right in thinking the upshot of all this is, for user account situations, it is not possible to achieve the legacy system print dialogue with Firefox?

The strategy I have always adopted is to use a user account for everyday use, and only use an admin account when absolutely necessary. This I think was Microsoft advice in the early days, and I have stuck with it. Maybe I am wrong in this now. When you get to my age, changing the way you do...

Thanks, Edwin, I can now get what I want under my Admin login. But what I would prefer, is for the tweak shown in post #75 to work on my User login. Is that possible? Or can I add the missing bits manually - I would be nervous doing this :confused:

Yes, I get this consistently. I can print from it, but would prefer to do so from the system print dialogue, which for example is more convenient as I can there turn off duplex printing if I dont want it.
