  1. General Add or Remove Libraries in File Explorer Navigation Pane in Windows 11

I don't know if it's possible, but I’ve been searching both search engines and the forum for the following without finding an answer. Is it possible to create a folder within Libraries, with its path and icon, through the Windows Registry instead of doing it visually? For example, the Downloads...
  2. General Add and Remove Quick Access Folders on Navigation Pane of File Explorer in Windows 11

In any case, the path I shared is not the same as the one in the thread you posted. I suppose it has changed in the latest updates to the path I provided.
  3. General Add and Remove Quick Access Folders on Navigation Pane of File Explorer in Windows 11

I'm sorry, I've spent the whole week looking through this forum and doing searches on Google, and I couldn’t find how to do it, so I started testing in a virtual machine and figured it out. That's why I shared it in this thread, because I thought it would be helpful 😔
  4. General Add and Remove Quick Access Folders on Navigation Pane of File Explorer in Windows 11

Yes, this method removes the pinned folders from both locations. It seems to be working with the 24h2 beta as well. As always, they might change more registry entries in the future, as has happened with many updates.
  5. General Add and Remove Quick Access Folders on Navigation Pane of File Explorer in Windows 11

It's true, in previous versions the path was in NameSpace_36354489, but in the newer versions it is under NameSpace. I guess you just have to adapt it according to the version of the update.
  6. General Add and Remove Quick Access Folders on Navigation Pane of File Explorer in Windows 11

It's strange. I've tested it on virtual machines with version 24h2 and on a real machine with version 23h2, and it works on all of them. Can you check if this path exists and if there are any entries inside...
  7. General Add and Remove Quick Access Folders on Navigation Pane of File Explorer in Windows 11

To delete the default pinned folders in Windows 11 as shown in the first post, instead of doing it manually, we can do it through the Windows registry. We simply have to delete the following registry path. Reg.exe delete...
  8. Left Nav Pane: Wrong Separatation Lines, and Can't Remove Quick Access "Libraries" Entry...

At the moment the only solution that Microsoft gives is to give the option to show all folders, but you may not like the resulting view. I did, and I hid some default access through registry entries, which in this forum explain how to do it. In this way, when you display the libraries, the...
  9. Is there a way to ditch the "Recommended" section of the Start screen?

I sometimes wonder if some developers at Microsoft are being randomly selected or if they really don't realize that instead of moving forward, they are going backwards.
  10. Is there a way to ditch the "Recommended" section of the Start screen?

Possibly that is the problem, an incompatibility between ExplorerPatcher and StartAllBack. I currently have version 22621.819 and I have completely hidden the recommendations section.
  11. Remove sections from Search dialogue box?

My recommendation is the following: Turn off the search button, it takes up unnecessary space on the taskbar. To perform a search, press button start, and start typing what you want to search for, the search will be performed exactly the same as the search button, but without displaying...
  12. Is there a way to ditch the "Recommended" section of the Start screen?

Yes, that's correct, as of feature update 22H2, you can choose the recommended section size, leaving a minimum of one line of icons, but if you want to remove the section entirely, Microsoft doesn't provide the solution (for now), you have to resort to third-party programs, and I think that...
  13. Is there a way to ditch the "Recommended" section of the Start screen?

I don't know if it's too late for that, but this program completely disables the Start Menu application list. https://github.com/valinet/ExplorerPatcher/releases Properties on the taskbar > Start Menu > and Check "Disable the "Recommended" section.
