    personally, i do clean installs every year or so anyway. so, i definitely go with clean installs for major updates like that. can't say if you'll have issues going the upgrade route, but i did have issues with my user folder after taking the win10 creators update whenever that was.

    my bad. its the hibernation and page files 109 GB hiberfil.sys 40 GB pagefile.sys 16 MB swapfile.sys that'll do it. my first time running so much RAM.. this makes more sense now

    thanks I will try that. Does it make sense that the ~5GB installable ISO could even balloon into 156GB? that seems like a magical amount of compression... 31 times ?! maybe richard hendricks of pied piper helped with this??
