Tried it and yet another example of Microsoft duplicating stuff and bloating Windows. Totally pointless, the same as the pointless "Home" in settings. Adds a new service and I used Revo to uninstall it. Why doesn't Microsoft concentrate on the OS itself, have they too much time on their hands?

Update: I have had a full month without any problems and my PC is functioning flawlessly. I reversed performance changes with no recreation of the freezing / automatic restart when using Chrome. Every setting is set to stock (though have left the RAM having a higher speed and tighter timings)...
