If I click on the window pane , all my options disappear in a few seconds. If I hurry and hit settings ( for instance ) fast enough nothing happens. If I right click the window pane I get choices and they work.

OMG , ran the fix VSS in Macrium before I shut it down and switched the NVMe SSd and it fired right up without a boot USB. Not sure if the fix worked , and not sure if my rescue USB works , but my desktop seems to be working , so first beer is opened ! Really appreciate all the help along the...

I see there is a fix VSS or disable VSS under the Help button (Macrium ) but I need to close before I can get to it. Macrium is showing progress at 100% and the target SSD is idle
