Using Edge, when I go to www.google.com I'm now seeing "Select a certificate for authentication" at the site. Should I select one? Instead, I can cancel or x out and all is well. But the prompt always returns whenever I return to google.com. Is there some way to stop this prompt?
My default mouse pointer size was too small, and I increased it one notch. Fine. But now the text cursor (shaped like an "I") is huge. Is it possible to increase the pointer size without increasing the cursor size? Thanks!
Is a special MS app required on a Windows 11 pc in order to screen mirror (cast) an iPhone 15 to the Windows 11 desktop? If so, is it available in the MS Store? Free?
Apologies! I know this has been previously posted. But I'm still not clear. Is my understanding below, correct?
The green background, white check shows the file is synced and always remains on my hard drive.

I rarely shut down our HP AI AIO desktop. Sometimes after a long sleep period (overnight) I awaken the pc to find a small, blue spinning circle on the desktop. This can take up to a few minutes to resolve, during which time I can do nothing. Is this normal? How can I use the Event Viewer to...
I've observed this on our Dell and HP pcs. If I open a file, folder or shortcut on the desktop, then close and go back to the desktop, a tooltip will not appear on any icon when I hover the mouse pointer over it. But if I then click anywhere on the desktop and hover once again over any icon...
My HP All in One AIO set to "screen off" after 10 minutes and "sleep" after 20 minutes. After 20 minutes how can I confirm the AIO is sleeping and not just screen off? The power light remains solid and does not blink, leading me to believe it might not be actually sleeping.
My new HP all-in-one is set to turn screen off after 10 minutes and sleep after 20 minutes. Generally, during the day, it awakens immediately when I type or use the mouse. The same behavior usually occurs at 5am when we first awaken it. But on occasion after the overnight sleep, the desktop...
Solved. For some reason, after restarting, the "Status" column was not showing up on the folder view. I "ticked the box" and it appeared, but still no status icons. I then restarted Windows Explorer and that did the trick.
Today I uninstalled the trial version of McAfee, checked that Defender is up and running, then restarted. All is well, except the status icons (solid green disc with white check) are not showing on folders, subfolders and files that I've placed in OneDrive to sync and backup. Hovering mouse...
I discovered by accident that disabling OneDrive backup of Desktop causes all Desktop icons to disappear. I can easily recreate them using the "Shortcut to Desktop" provided. But why must they be removed in the first place?
My Windows 11 desktop has shortcut icons, the little arrows of which have all disappeared. Shortcut icons appearing elsewhere (other than the desktop) display correctly, with the arrow identifying them as shortcuts. I want to restore the desktop shortcut icons so that they appear correctly...
Thanks. But this latest version of Outlook (MS Home Office 2024) appears to not have a "File" tab and there is no "File -> Options" option.
I've seen some other confirmations of this.
When composing an email in Outlook for Home Office 2024, is it possible to turn off auto-save and save to draft manually? I've successfully turned off auto-save in Word but I've been unable to find how to do this for this latest version of Outlook.
Thanks!
