Solved - right click on Taskbar, go to Toolbars, uncheck Internet Explorer. All back to normal. I just had to reinstall my quick launch afterwards.

A couple of weeks ago my taskbar changed from two to three levels - reason is the weekday is now included on a third (middle) level between the time above and date below. I've been googling for an answer and have tried all suggestions but can't get rid of the weekday! All the settings seem to...
