  1. Taskbar changed since KB5042099 update

Sorry, didn't put details Windows version is 23H2 (OS Build 22631.4037) and the application is an older version of Outlook. It does indeed only happen when there's notifications from it, not emails, but reminders
  2. Taskbar changed since KB5042099 update

Thanks for the reply! Guess I'll just have to get used to the pink and sit here quietly simmering with rage every time I notice it...
  3. Taskbar changed since KB5042099 update

Did update KB5042099 yesterday, and can't see a lot of difference (always good IMHO) other than the taskbar This is what it looks like now. Until yesterday, if icons from the same application were combined, and there was a notification, there'd just be a red bar under the icon, but now it's got...

Thanks for the welcome! Tried those changes to the registry and not making any difference sadly :(
  8. Windows 11 clock gone AWOL

You're right! I could have sworn it was set to "off". Either I imagined it, or it has changed. Sadly, probably the former :(
  9. Windows 11 clock gone AWOL

Just looked at winver and it's telling me I have "Home"
  10. Windows 11 clock gone AWOL

Hi folks Recently I've had to retire my ancient Toshiba laptop, as it just became too slow to boot and then took forever to actually do anything when it was going - plus the lid was stuck open! I've now got a nice Medion gaming laptop but it's got Windows 11, so getting used to that after W10...
