^^ In answer to those two questions:- 1) I may have messed things up trying to change the size of the taskbar but (and it's an important but) I used a .bat file from this site (here), so doubt it was that! 2) I backup my files weekly to a 4tb hard drive, but don't usually back up any OS...

^^ Oh, and "Show time and date in the system tray" is no longer greyed out, so I can choose - yes! - and "Some of these settings are managed by your organisation" has gone! I love this place!:love:

You're right! I could have sworn it was set to "off". Either I imagined it, or it has changed. Sadly, probably the former :(
