  1. Windows 11 and Sleep

Possibly not. However I have now. Resuts are: Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.26100.4770] (c) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. C:\Users\Endurance>powercfg /a The following sleep states are available on this system: Standby (S3) Hibernate The following sleep states are not...
  2. Windows 11 and Sleep

Ive run the powercfg /requests in cmd and it returned 'none' for everything. My issue is the PC wont automaticall sleep, not that it is waking unexpectedly from sleep, so I didnt pursue the 'find wake source' tutorial. Hibernate has (and is) always been set to 'never' and Power is balanced. I...
  3. Windows 11 and Sleep

Yes. Both the monitors and the PC are set to 15 mins. My issue is that inactivity is only putting the monitors to sleep after 15 and not the PC too. So PC remains 'awake' Yet I can put it into sleep mode manually with no issue. What can I check to fix this?
  4. Windows 11 and Sleep

Hi folks My new build PC has been up and running since Christmas 25 and has been working great. The W11 install used the clean install tutorial (thanks as always @Brink) and I dont have a Microsoft account (local user). In my power settings my monitors and PC are set to sleep at 15 mins of...
  5. Solved Folder Access Denied (Windows 11)

Apologies to everyone in this thread. I went on holiday with the family and then work became absurdly busy. Ive just surfaced and carried out the CMD code paste a few posts above and it worked. Well, actually id didnt, becasue I posted the whole block and hit return and it did some parts and...
  6. Solved Folder Access Denied (Windows 11)

Again, thank you. Screens you asked for (I havent yet tried the above code as I honestly dont understand it!) Each screen goes down 1 layer from AV folder > Audio folder > Test folder > MyActivity folders > .wav file inside
  7. Solved Folder Access Denied (Windows 11)

I checked the Audio subfolder and the Test subfolder of that folder and the permissions are all identical to those I posted above.

  9. Solved Folder Access Denied (Windows 11)

Hi I can happily create and delete folders on my C: (Windows 11 install drive) and my D: (data drive). However I was just about to create a folder on my D: for Game recordings (which will by high bandwidth recordings from OBS) when I saw the folder below. I think it was created by my SHURE...
  10. Windows Boot disk and other boot disks...

Venjoy seems Ventoy seems to take complete control of the USB. You might have missed my earlier post, but I created 2 simple partitions and formated both as simple volumes on the usb as a test (50% of total space each) and then installed ventoy. It destroyed both and just recreated it's single...
  11. Windows Boot disk and other boot disks...

Unfortunately in ventoy formatted drives, the shrink option is greyed out in disk manager
  12. Windows Boot disk and other boot disks...

You and I have very different ideas of fun. Im just surviving here....you are doing stuff I dont even begin to understand. One day this might make sense to me!
  13. Windows Boot disk and other boot disks...

I think the confusion is that you think I am asking about where to put the ISO files. Im not confused about that. Its where both you say they should go, where Ventoy say they should go and many other respondents to this thread say they should go. What I was asking is where I can store my OTHER...
  14. Windows Boot disk and other boot disks...

Sorry, the picture isnt quite up top date. Ventory already assigns it a drive letter. However, I am still really unclear - i dont want to use the Ventoy E: (476Gb) partition for my data. I just wanted to put ISOs there and I dont need more than 30-60Gb for that. Im guessing you were...
  15. Windows Boot disk and other boot disks...

Just for interest, I took that 476.91 Gb of space, deleted the volume and created 2 simple volumed within it Drive E (400Gb) and Drive F (76Gb). Then thinking I could just install ventoy on the 76Gb partition. However Ventoy just sees an SSD with E: and F: on it and turns it back into the above...
