@zbook, thanks for all the info. I started down the list and after installing the BIOS update, I tried logging in as one of the non-admin users and the problem has disappeared. Apparently, that was the issue. Many thanks! —Pete

It sounds like my best course of action at this point is to wait for a log file guru to examine my logs. I do appreciate all the suggestions and will continue to monitor this thread. users
