The folder is shared, but the problem has nothing to do with the folder and is elsewhere - Windows wants me to log in when accessing the computer over the network. I can't do this with the app I'm using on my phone. Windows 10 didn't have this problem. The folder isn't visible across the network...

It does not. I cannot access the computer over the network without a login so I can't even get to the point where I can see any shared folders.

I recently did a fresh install of Windows 11 and it's driving me crazy trying to do something as simple as sharing a folder across my home network. Back in Windows 10 I was able to disable password protected sharing and see all the shared folders inside the computer. Windows 11 does not want me...
