Since I'm only on "1 1/2 years" on Windows 11. How important is it? Or running a "SFC /scannow" is. Or DISM scan. Once a month? Cheers

Thank you! I confess I never heard of DCU. But I have the current ver. of SA. installed. + running a test on the Dell Site says I up 2 date. So I'll stick with the SA. regards........

evidently my DCU was not installed or I have to download it? correct me pls. if I'm wrong. If I type in Dell Command Update, a Bing search page comes up to download it & install it....

"I did not renew" - the Dell SupportAssist !! After a year they wanted more $$$. for the use of Support Assist? (see pic again) but I can still use SA. It still does it's thing...

Dell "Support Assist" downloaded a new version - (which when the year was up in 2023) I did not renew? Anyone else get another, or Version 4.X SupportAssist ?? regards...

It was like that for me also. I have 1 Dell Laptop. with 2 restarts.:sneaky: maybe the the update team went shopping? take care......

@glasskuter sounds good. I ran all the security checks & they were Neg. I would have remembered the restart for a browser update - I never miss them:oops: (or maybe it was a 1st.) regards.

Edit is above, Never use Edge... Its Google Chrome (up to date)

Wonder what it means? if anything.... comments anyone? Couldn;t sign me in poped up? Did a restart, and I'm in. maybe I should do some security scans.
