I tested with the keyboard and mouse completely disconnected and turned off (separately - see my previous post) and it still happens. Also doesn't matter if the keyboard/mouse is functioning as wireless or plugged in via USB. I will look at the Safe Boot vs Normal Task Manager, I like that thought.

@Winuser The drivers are all up to date. Double checked BIOS and chipset.

But then a clean boot should have fixed that. It turned off all apps except Malwarebytes. I might uninstall that and see what happens. I'll just be very careful in my internet use until it is back on. Before I do that, I will pause and get feedback.
