I have modified the bios and deleted all of the partitions on the SSD. I have successfully reinstalled windows 11. Many thanks for your help.
I have no idea what caused the system to become corrupted suddenly. It's a shame that I have lost all of my data but at least I have my laptop...

I performed the Dell pre boot long tests and they took about 30 minutes to run. It tested every bit of the system and it passed all tests. It then generated a QR code which took me to the screen in post #16.
Regarding my bios: it's version 1.23.0
I have attached some images...
The Dell preboot diagnostics passed 100% of test. Please see image attached to post #16
SATA/NVMe Operation = RAID = ON
I am not sure about the other information or where to find that from BIOS.

I started the process for installing Windows 11 from the usb drive but the SSD is not visible. Is this a case of needing to format the SSD or is a driver missing?

Hi I have tried resetting the bios back to default but it does not appear to have made any difference .
I don't have the hardware available to let me test this. The hard drive seems to pass all tests in both Dell support assist and Seagate SeaTools and appears to be healthy by all accounts.

Startup repair does not work either.

This is an internal NVME drive in my laptop and is not connected via a cable. Parted Magic and Seagate Sea tools can see and read the disk. I can also resize the OS partition in parted magic if I needed to. The NVME seems healthy / operational.
