WD doesn't deal with spyware and malware. MB does. So, a scan with MB reveals a lot that WD doesn't.

I use the paid version as my one and only alongside Defender Firewall. I never needed anything else and I've had Norton and BitDefender.

If you're running the Millenium Edition it should run well on Windows 10. I see no reason to go to Windows 11. My opinion.

I have no problem opening .jpg although they open in a player. I am running the same version of Windows 11. Your issue might be a NET Framework issue.
