For unknown reasons, the slowness my compute experienced somehow cleared itself up.

I've done the Registry search. As I never consciously used VB I'm not sure what installed it. There are some VB6 files but in the C:\program files\Oracle\VirtualBox but no files the VB7 is looking for. The install wants the MSI.

The issue with VirtualBox is that Windows 11 install app seems to require it. Not sure why. VB 6.1.22 is apparently installed on my computer, but I can't find it. Perhaps unknowingly I deleted it? Don't know. I can't uninstall it as the system can't find the MSI.

Nope. I am confused as well. There's just no excuse for Microsoft to release such an easily screwed up install program.

Win11 requires VirtualBox, 7.[0.20-xxxx But I cannot install that. What now? So far I'd give Microsoft a D for this.
