That is probably the best answer, but note that the user here states upfront that you don't do this for better network performance, but to use two different networks at the same time. Windows won't manage...
Running a task in the Scheduler with "Run with highest privileges" Does not request a password when the task is run. That's a neat trick we learned years ago to run any task as Admin without needing to enter a password.
Kinda surprised I haven't seen EdgeDeflector. Make Windows Search use your preferred browser rather than Edge. Personally, I install it right after installing Brave. Nice to have a Browser with built-in Ad Blocking.
The Mac paradigm, which came first so it certainly can be improved, came about because they noticed that when people wanted to move the mouse to the Menubar they could get there much easier when it was at the top of the screen.

My perspective is always a bit skewed as a Software Engineer who has worked on everything from Kernel drivers to the Cloud I certainly have adopted an "it's just a tool" attitude.

It says to install a couple of microsoft packages, but apt says they do not exist.
Drag a shortcut for the .bat file or .ps1 or whatever into the Startup folder? That way it will get launched every time you log in. Crude but it should do the job:
"C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup"
Pretty crappy that it has to run that frequently...
LOL, well then if your OCD can tolerate the occasional Blue Screen or CTD, then by all means start deleting things in the Operating System directory if they annoy you.

And so they install them all for people who can't figure out how to install an app... on a computer... in 2021?? I don't understand how someone who doesn't know how to install the software they need can figure out how to launch the applications once they are installed.
