Everything l do just cast's the entire desktop. Which is fine if thats what you want but l dont understand why the option to cast a specific file has changed. Its as if the ability to cast a individual file has been removed and now only casting the entire desktop is allowed.

That would only result in my laptop casting my desktop with VLC playing in fullscreen. The whole thing changed. Before it wouldn't have even opened VLC, before you just sent the media file to the TV and then it would play on the tv. All I want to do is revert this laptop to its former state...

Hi all. I recently got this popup... Previous to this, if I wanted to cast a movie to my tv I would right-click the file, show more options, cast to device, select my tv, and a little cast to window would open up on my desktop allowing me to pause or rewind etc, and the movie would start...
