I did sfc /scannow and DISM cleanup image and they supposedly "found" and "resolved" issues but it did nothing for me. I will try a clean boot!

The issue was solved by... Pluggin the microphone into a USB 3.2 port instead of the USB 2 ports on the back I/O panel. This thread informed me that it was my DAC being 24bit as well as the microphone. I couldn't reduce the bit-depth, they are inherently 24bit.
