I would shy against using any driver updater programs. Personally, I've had more issues as some drivers have a close enough identifier...

Good for you! Anyway, RDC can be easily disabled again after you use it locally. I don't keep it enabled either. It is just a workaround...

I always disable RDC for system security, so I won't do that. That's been a part of my standard system tweaks for a very long time...
