Yes, using v8 Workstation & I tried WinRE and every iteration of WADK possible, nothing worked. And I guess that makes sense with what the cause finally turned out to be.
I've got lots more to learn about.
I'll be contacting Bitdefender support to see if they can advise of settings that will allow both programs to safely co-exist.

It appears the culprit is Bitdefender ActiveShield. Must have been something in a relatively recent AV update cause this wasn’t an issue a few months ago.

This is just so weird. It seems like the RE/PE files aren't available for Reflect to use Dism and Image to do its work but when I look they are where they should be ... I'm at a loss (& apparently Macrium Tech support is as well since I've not heard back from them in over a day now)
