  1. Linux Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) 2.2.4 released

The announcement for WSL 2.2.4 says all system resources are available. Does that mean we can finally use the serial ports and USB ports as we could on WSL 1? I know there's a program called usbipd that runs in Windows to attach USB ports to a WSL session and it works fine for the USB ports but...
  2. USB Serial Ports Detach from WSL2

It's a Gearmo GM-FTDI8X-M. There are no power options for it in Device Manager. As long as I just minimize and don't close the WSL window the connection persists so I guess that's what I'll do.
  3. USB Serial Ports Detach from WSL2

I have a USB to RS-232 unit with eight ports. I can attach its ports to WSL2 and see all eight ports as ttyUSB0 - ttyUSB7. After a while however, the ports disappear from WSL2! I have to reattach them in PowerShell using usbipd. Is there any way to keep the ports attached to WSL2?
